Google’s Search app on iOS gets a Twitter-like feature
- Updated: September 3, 2017
Google App
Google’s hunt app on iOS has now got a Twitter-like “Trending Searches” underline that will uncover users searches that are trending when they daub into a box to start a hunt — as also yield answers to queries.
The App Store combined a new feature, called “What’s New”, that also provides ‘Instant Answers’ as a user forms his query — and even before he presses a hunt button, TechCrunch reported.
When this underline was rolled out final year on Android, people had complained that they found it irritating and distracting, generally as a calm returned was not what they were privately meddlesome in.
A few months later, Google updated and enclosed an opt-out environment in a Google Search app. The same underline has also been enclosed in iOS app version.
