The messaging app will dump support for ‘BlackBerry OS’, ‘BlackBerry 10′, ‘Windows Phone 8.0′ and comparison platforms, from Dec 31, 2017, according to an express.co.uk news published on Monday.
“We will no longer actively rise for these platforms, some facilities might stop functioning during any time,” WhatsApp said.
“These platforms don’t offer a kind of capabilities we need to enhance a app’s facilities in a future. If we use one of these influenced mobile devices, we suggest upgrading to a newer OS version, or to a newer Android regulating OS 4.0+, iPhone regulating iOS 7+, or Windows Phone 8.1+ so that we can continue regulating WhatsApp,” a association added.
