‘Temporary tattoos might trigger skin problems’

New York: Want a tattoo to stir your friends though worry about a pain of genuine ink? Do not tumble for proxy tattoos as these competence means allergic reactions to skin.
Allergic reactions to press-on proxy tattoos can engage rashes and blisters while long-term effects competence embody scarring, skin changes and increasing attraction to sun, a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) news has warned.

“If we had a greeting to a proxy tattoo or any cosmetic product, a FDA wants to know,” pronounced Katherine Hollinger, an epidemiologist with a FDA bureau of cosmetics and colours.
Beyond a wet-and-press tattoos found in burble resin machines, there are several forms of proxy tattoos that use plant-based and fake dyes.
Some uses henna, churned with a hair-dye part p-phenylenediamine (PPD), that is not authorized by a FDA for use on a skin, a group noted.
Another color jagua, derives from a unripened fruit of a Genipa americana, is also not endorsed for use.
Real tattoos too come with their possess set of risks, including infested ink that has caused infection outbreaks, a news added.
