Shraddha Kapoor to play womanlike lead in ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’?

If attention rumours are anything to go by, Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ finally has a heading lady. Shraddha Kapoor, who was among a tip contenders for a part, has been roped in to play a womanlike lead in a Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan-directed space odyssey.
A section palm tells mid-day, “The womanlike lead had to be someone who is peaceful to take a risk. The film requires a singer to renovate physically — she has to competition brief hair. This was proof to be a halt for many actresses, who auditioned for a part, given they wouldn’t be means to do any other film during a same time. With Haseena Parkar, Shraddha has done it transparent that she is adult for initial roles. She doesn’t have any inhibitions about chopping her hair for a film and is vehement about a challenge.”
