Richa Chadha to reinstate Chitrangda Singh in ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’

Over a week after Chitrangda Singh walked out of Kushan Nandy’s most behind film, ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’, a makers have apparently zeroed in on a replacement. Richa Chadha is expected to step in as Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s heading lady.

Chitrangada had purported that a makers were forcing her to do insinuate scenes that were nonessential and also did not go with her character. She claimed that she was asked to wear an unbuttoned blouse and a petticoat, and distortion on Nawaz with her legs widespread apart. The dual parties had an nauseous squabble and traded several allegations opposite any other after she opted out of a film.

Says a source, “The makers were watchful for a debate to blow over before announcing a replacement. They are finalising another singer and wish to start anew. In all probability, it is going to be Nawaz’s ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ (2012) co-star Richa.”

A discreet Nandy says, “Richa is a smashing actor and it would be a pleasure to have her on board, though during this juncture, we can't criticism on this. we am confirming and not confirming (the story) during this point.”

He adds that their ongoing fire in Lucknow has not stopped post Chitrangada’s exit. “Our fire is on schedule,” says a director.

The long-in-the-making film had left on a floors progressing this month in Lucknow. Nawaz and Chitrangda had shot for ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ in Dec 2014 in Kolkata, Bolpur and Burdwan in West Bengal. The fire was, however, influenced due to purported difficulty with internal technicians and non-payment of dues.

Nandy afterwards started it as a new plan and whatever had been shot progressing was scrapped. He now has a combined charge of deletion what was shot with Chitrangda in a stream Lucknow schedule.

Richa, who is attending an awards rite in Spain, remained taken for comment.
