EDM spin on ‘Gulabi Aankhen…’ strain for Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Noor’
- Updated: January 4, 2017
Sonakshi Sinha
Those in a know state that a recreated chronicle of yesteryear chartbuster ‘Gulabi Aankhen Jo Teri Dekhi’ for a Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Noor’ has elements of EDM, fast-paced beats joined with smart dance moves.
Mohammed Rafi’s classical series from a Rajesh Khanna and Nanda-starrer ‘The Train’ (1970) was stoical by a mythological RD Burman. While a strain has had several cover versions, it has been recreated by Amaal Malik for Noor. Sona has already grooved to a lane in Sunhil Sippy’s directorial venture, that is slated for recover in April.
The film is formed on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz’s novel Karachi, You’re Killing Me! and follows a Pakistani journalist-writer’s misadventures in Mumbai.
