Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Jolly LLB 2' writer accepts 4 cuts in a film

Fox Star Studios India, writer of Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Jolly LLB 2′, has cold defence opposite Bombay HC sequence of deletion ‘objectionable’ scenes and has supposed 4 cuts in film.

The makers of Jolly LLB 2 on Monday were systematic to undo 4 ‘objectionable scenes’ from a courtroom play after a three-member row allocated by a High Court concluded that it ‘showed lawyers in bad light’.

In a report, a row suggested 4 cuts, including a stage where a protagonist (Akshay Kumar), who plays a lawyer, is seen jumping on a dais. He afterwards signals his customer to chuck a shoe during a decider and a discourse follows: ‘Kya akal ladaai hai’.

The makers, represented by comparison warn Ravi Kadam, submitted an confirmation filed by executive Subhash Kapoor, who concluded to undo all ‘objectionable’ scenes. The justice destined a Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to immediately emanate a uninformed certificate to a film after a cuts were effected.

The genuine courtroom play began when a Nanded-based disciple filed a petition with a Bombay High Court, referring to certain scenes in a courtroom drama’s trailer and demanded that a word ‘LLB’ be forsaken from a title.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, ‘Jolly LLB 2′ is a supplement to a 2012 comedy. The film also stars Huma Qureshi and Annu Kapoor. 

The film is slated to recover this Friday.

New stage to uncover discontented contractor venting frustration
Director promises to undo anything that is objectionable
Supreme Court to hear a matter today
Cast and makers to residence media in Delhi today
