Los Angeles: Woody Allens manager has been indicted of personally pocketing commissions from a maestro filmmaker’s cinema when those should have left to his government partners.
Late film writer Larry Brezner’s mother Dominique Cohen-Brezner filed a lawsuit on Mar 30 in Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing Allen’s manager Stephen Tenenbaum of self-denial income from her late husband, it has emerged now, reports variety.com.
Brezner, who died in 2015, was a partner with Tenenbaum and David Steinberg in MBST Entertainment.
According to a suit, Tenenbaum had an requirement to share a revenues from Allen’s films with his partners. However, Cohen-Brezner has purported that Tenenbaum “secretly organised to defer income from Woody Allen’s projects while during a same time formulation to leave MBST and slot a commissions for himself after combining his new government company.”
