Writer-director and actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s mother Tahira Kashyap, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, has called on everybody to get unchanging check-ups and mammograms finished if needed.

Tahira on Friday dusk tweeted: “Just felt like propelling everybody to get unchanging check-ups done. If a doc suggests greatfully do get a mammogram done. Please do not omit any symptom.”

She also pronounced that “early showing can unequivocally help”. “Please take good caring of yourselves… breast cancer awareness…. early detection,” Tahira, who has undergone surety mastectomy, added.

On Sep 22 final year, Tahira common online that she was rescued with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in her right breast with high-grade virulent cells. She returned to work after mastectomy in November.

In an talk with mid-day.com, Tahira said, “You can never mentally ready yourself for cancer. It comes into your life as a shocker. You have got to honour a unpredictability of life. At a same time, give yourself a energy that we can bear everything.” The approach she has rubbed this proviso in her life is truly worthy and praise-worthy.
