Sreesanth denied BCCI accede to play cricket in Scotland
New Delhi: S Sreesanth’s skeleton to come back to rival cricket was dashed currently as a BCCI denied the India quick bowler NOC (No Objection Certificate) to play league cricket in Scotland.
Sreesanth had been perplexing to play joining cricket in Scotland this year though a BCCI, that had imposed a life ban on him following his purported impasse in a IPL spot-fixing liaison in 2013, has refused to give him the necessary permission.
According to an ESPNcricinfo report, a BCCI official confirmed that they had not thankful his request.
In May 2013, Sreesanth and dual other Rajasthan Royals bowlers – Ankit Chavan and Ajit Chandila – were arrested for alleged impasse in spot-fixing. All 3 players were later criminialized for life by a BCCI.
In 2015, Sreesanth was privileged of spot-fixing charges by a Delhi hearing justice due to deficient justification underneath the MCOCA act, a special law upheld by a Maharashtra state government to tackle organized crime syndicates and terrorism.
