Ravindra Jadeja’s matter available in lion selfie case

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Forest dialect has available a matter of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, who allegedly flouted manners and took selfies with lions during Wildlife Sanctuary during Gir in Junagadh during his revisit a month ago, officials pronounced today.

“After a matter came to a believe a month back, we summoned Jadeja to record his matter with us. He recently gave his statement. We are in a routine of scheming a final report, formed on that movement will be taken,” pronounced Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF), Junagadh, A P Singh.

Last month, Gujarat Forest dialect had systematic an exploration after some of a photos– where Jadeja along with his mother Reeva can be seen posing in-front of lions– went viral on amicable media platforms.

In some of a photos, some timberland guards, who are deployed with tourists, can also be seen station with Jadeja nearby safari jeeps inside a sanctuary. As per rules, tourists are not authorised to land from their safari jeeps inside a sanctuary.

In one of a photos, believed to be clicked on Jun 15, Jadeja and Reeva can be seen sitting on a belligerent so that a lion resting underneath a tree behind them can be captured. In another photo, Jadeja can be seen indicating during some lions.

“This was a critical issue, as such acts are a transparent defilement of Wildlife Protection Act. We will take movement formed on a report, that will be prepared and submitted within subsequent few days,” combined Singh.

The census put a sum series of large cat in a state during 523, that is a burst from 411 lions counted in 2010.
