Mumbai Food: Your one stop emporium for some tasty dips and sauces
- Updated: December 13, 2016
The subsequent time we horde a residence celebration or only have strident craving cravings in office, try some tasty dips and salsas from Saucery. The artisanal dips, salsas and spreads are healthy (no synthetic or damaging additives), uninformed and healthy (free of gluten and trans fats). Saucery was started progressing this year by Gayatri Bhatia.
We attempted a Sundried Tomato Pesto — a tangy- honeyed herby mixture with parmesan, garlic and rosemary that tasted good with breadsticks and even nachos; a flavorful though heavy-on-olive-oil Aglio Olio, that worked good when tossed with pasta and a burning Harissa, done with 4 forms of chillies, that worked good as a bottom for sandwiches.
The beauty of these salsas is their flexibility — they can be used as a marinade, as a dip, sandwich widespread or only a sauce.
