We were a bit heedful when we stepped into a new eatery in Juhu — we were told that it would be portion tapas-style bites and molecular cocktails, finish with laboratory apparatus portion dishes. But Myx was a pleasing surprise. Contrary to a lab décor, things were elementary and unsentimental here (no potpourri of ornate elements thrown in for startle value). The grill sported high teakwood chairs, tables and comfy seating. An painting of a compass lonesome one of a walls.
Spanning 8 countries, a menu facilities classical and signature recipes and some deconstructed ones too. Divided into sections, Almost Raw, Grilled, Seared, Baked, Tossed, Steamed and Crisp, a menu has utterly a few try-worthy options.
We began with a Tuffler Potatoes (Rs 350) from a Crisp section. The image featured thinly-sliced potato spaghetti pressed with spinach and red booze onions.

It was different, and a break with a melt-in-your-mouth stuffing got a vote. From a Baked section, we systematic a Baby Lamb Empenadas (Rs 450). Resem-bling a Gujarati ghugra or a Maharashtrian karanji, a tiny image was a favourite. Stuffed with minced lamb and served with a packet chutney foam, a crispy eat could make for a ideal dusk break or starter. Next, we opted for a Vindaloo Duck (Rs 600) from a grilled section. Served in warm, light crepes, we found a beef somewhat chewy yet a normal vindaloo masala tender us. The bar menu done a spirits soar (pun intended).

Sweet Smoked Cosmo

We asked for a Sweet Smoked Cosmo (Rs 450). Served with most fanfare, a lipsmacking mixture blended vodka, cranberry, coconut fudge, smoked orange liking and kaffir lime. Our second splash was from a Tiki cocktail section. We were warned by a server that a Caribbean-style cocktails come with a lot of ice and can ambience diluted once a ice melts. While he was correct, we enjoyed a Caribbean Star (Rs 500) — a brew of dim rum, pineapple, pink and lime, with a graphic essence of a star anise.

The cutest partial about a dish were a nominal lollipops done for us during a table. The server squeezed a brew of 3 flavours of vanquish on a hang and they were solidified regulating glass nitrogen. We could ambience any of a flavours alone in a lollipops. Though we felt a pricing was steep, quite for tapas-style portions, a comfortable and smiling use evened out things nicely.
