The perspective from a outward gratified us in a flash. White walls with discriminating timber seat and Ikkat cushions dotted a space as well-spoken Jazz records played in a background; Sequel Bistro and Juice Bar done for an ideal place to chill on a still evening. It’s run by Vanika Choudhary, who was perched on a barstool and was tucking into her creations from a bowl. As we stepped in and checked a menu, we asked for something — anything — that could be conjured adult for dual inspired souls. We were sensitive that no object is churned adult in a hurry. Everything is prepared after a sequence is placed. The kitchen is tiny and manifest to patrons. We could hear a blender whiz. Another family also waited for their order. Meanwhile, a male stepped in to collect adult a takeaway that his partner had systematic a prior night, and ‘loved’.

We started with Kale Chips (Rs 175) and a salad called Mixed Signals (Rs 515). A image of baked leaves was served to us, most to a entertainment of my companion. The plate was ideal and light. Each root was gradual ideally with a brush of vinegar and a lurch of stone salt. It’s value a second helping. The salad was done of avocado, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, baby lettuce, organic cranberries, pomegranates and Kashmiri walnuts tossed with orange extract and honey, and sparse with tasty Feta cheese. Delicious.

For mains, we chose The Big Heist (Rs 425). I’ve eaten homemade whole wheat and pretend-whole wheat bread too. This was good gluten-free whole wheat bread. Served with poached eggs (two), a yoghurt-based Hollandaise that had been placed over a bed of roasted vegetables, it was an engaging mix of textures and tastes. But a best plate of a day — a genuine pleasure — was a Italian Heritage (Rs 530). Sitting before us was a filigree of what looked like immature noodles. ‘Zoodles’ were beautifully julienned strands of zucchini tossed with pesto salsa and sparse with sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes in organic baby kale and organic sunflower seed.

We attempted one of any from a libation section. We desired a thought that a swetness quotient was totalled for good health. Saffron Infused Almond Milk (Rs 255) was peaceful and light. I’ve sipped on almond divert before though zero matched this version. The Kashmiri sugar was used minimally; it authorised a cinnamon sprinkled over it to emerge a widespread taste.

The Daily Dose of Vitamin C (Rs 280) was a tad too green for my liking, though a Blueberry Mango Jar smoothie (R325) was, once again, a ideal unenlightened mix of blueberry, organic mango, spread and organic banana.

By a time we reached desserts, we learnt that a space offers usually dual options: Chocolate Lust (Rs 195), that is a cookie that we would have selected (sadly, it was over) and Indulgence (Rs 290). Left with no option, we systematic for it. This unenlightened triangle of sour chocolate cake with hiss in a centre was a mood-upper, and won a vote.

My mom pronounced how we cut your tender food creates a disproportion to a dish prepared. When we demeanour during a demeanour in that any avocado was accurately like a next, and how ideal a zucchini was stripped, we know that a transport during Sequel is combined with love. The non-vegetarian territory is minimal and can be skipped. Portions are meant for usually one, and a cost is a tad steep, we feel.

But if we wish a good, healthy meal, where each part is loyal to what it claims to be, and we wish to be certain that it is delicious, this is where we conduct to.
