Baking never sounded this good. Date, Almond and Coconut Energy Balls, Black Bread Roll, Rosemary and Charcoal Crackers, and Brioche French Toast — learn all this and some-more during cook Shaheen Peerbhai’s arriving baking tour.
Deconstructed Cheesecake
The three-city debate starts this weekend in Mumbai, where Peerbhai wants to uncover people that there’s some-more to fritter than red velvet cupcakes and brownies. “I wish to pull students out of their comfort section by severe them with new flavours and textures,” she says.
The classes are divided into sections called Dessert Fix, Ice Creams, Easy Bakes, Chocolat, Creative Pastry, and a new Breads and Brunch Time. “Each year, we have my students ask new things they wish to learn. They’ve been chasing me to learn sourdough bread, so I’ve brought my reliable small blob of levain (sourdough starter) from London. As for brunch — we do candy all a time so suspicion it’d be good to brew adult a bit of delectable too.”
Caramel Ice cream
The classes are demo-based since Peerbhai believes that people tend to learn some-more when they are focussed on what she is doing, rather than removing dreaming with things like because their neighbour’s mix looks opposite from theirs. “The students are an active partial of a routine and get a hands-on look, hold and ambience during each step of a dish,” she says.
