Kapil Dev inducted into Legends Club ‘Hall of Fame’

Cricket idol Kapil Dev on Tuesday was inducted into Legends Club ‘Hall of Fame’ in participation of former India captains Ajit Wadekar, Sunil Gavaskar and Nari Contractor during a Cricket Club of India in Mumbai. Dev, who led India to a fatiguing World Cup feat in 1983, is deliberate as a country’s biggest all-rounder. He was presented with a reference by former India actor and Legends Club President Madhav Apte.

Dev, also removed that his mother Rommie’s grandfather had asked “ladka kya karta hai (What does a child do), wo cricket kelta hai, wo theek hai, standard wo karta kya hai (he plays cricket, though what does he do)”. Describing Kapil as India’s biggest compare winner, Gavaskar said, “For me it was an comprehensive honour to have played in a same group (as Kapil).
