Irrfan Khan to star in film instrumentation of Pakistani novel

Actor Irrfan Khan will underline in a film instrumentation of a novel Moth Smoke by Pakistan-born author Mohsin Hamid. The film will be helmed by Oscar-winning film-maker Asif Kapadia.

Irrfan, Kapadia and eccentric writer Dina Dattani (executive writer on Bombay Velvet) acquired a rights to a novel, reported Variety.

Kapadia will approach and co-write a film while Dattani will deliver it to a buyers in Cannes. Irrfan, who starred in Kapadia’s The Warrior, will play a lead purpose in Moth Smoke.
