Harbhajan Singh to lead Punjab in Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament

Mohali: Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will lead a Punjab group in a Mushtaq Ali Trophy domestic T20 contest that starts on Jan 29. The Senior Selection Committee of Punjab Cricket Association met on Monday underneath a chairmanship of Bhupinder Singh Sr. here to name a Punjab group for a tournament. Harbhajan, who took a mangle from cricket for 8 months, was named captain with Gurkeerat Singh Mann as his deputy.
Punjab will kickstart their debate opposite Haryana during Amtar (Himachal Pradesh) on Jan 29, followed by matches opposite Delhi on Jan 30 during Dharamshala, opposite Jammu and Kashmir on Jan 31 during Dharamshala, opposite Services on Feb 1 during Dharamshala and opposite HP during Dharamshala on
February 2. The group will leave for Amtar on Jan 27. Coach Arun Sharma and bowling manager Harvinder Singh will accompany a team.
