‘Sardar Udham Singh’ is a cinematic description of a life of leisure warrior of a same name. Sardar Udham Singh is famous for assassinating former major administrator of Punjab, Michael O’ Dwyer in 1940.
The assassination was dictated to revenge a heartless Jallianwala Bagh electrocute that took place in Amritsar on Apr 13, 1919.
Vicky Kaushal who was final seen as an army male in ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ will be seen as Sardar Udham Singh in a film. Helmed by Shoojit Sircar, a film will strike a theatres on Oct 2 subsequent year.
