Rajlot: Seventeen-year-old Mumbai opening batsman Prithvi Shaw was finally capped as a first-class cricketer when he was enclosed in a personification XI for a Ranji Trophy semi-final opposite Tamil Nadu here yesterday.

“Like each Mumbai under-14 cricketer we too dreamt of personification for Mumbai in a Ranji Trophy one day. we have achieved it, though we also know that we have some-more responsibilities to shoulder,” Shaw told mid-day yesterday. Mumbai done dual changes in their side that kick Hyderabad in a quarter-final.
Shaw assigned Kevin D’Almeida’s place while Balwinder Singh Sandhu came in place of Tushar Deshpande.

Head manager Chandrakant Pandit, who presented a Mumbai top to Shaw before a match, said: “Prithvi batted good in a nets.
