Donald Trump vows to revive ‘peace’ along Russia, Ukraine border

Washington: US President Donald Trump has vowed to revive “peace” along a Russia=Ukraine border, a White House announced.

Trump had a “very good call” with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Saturday addressing “a accumulation of topics, including Ukraine’s long-running dispute with Russia”, a White House pronounced in a statement.

“We will work with Ukraine, Russia, and all other parties concerned to assistance them revive assent along a border,” Trump said.

The White House also remarkable that a dual leaders discussed “the intensity for a assembly in a nearby future”, The Hill repository reported.

The call came as a conditions in eastern Ukraine worsened final week, after Ukrainian army clashed with Russian-backed separatist groups.

Also on Saturday, Trump spoke with a Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni about strengthening shared family between a dual countries and has concluded to attend a G-7 limit in Italy in May, a White House said.

Trump reiterated his joining to NATO to a Italian leader, with whom he is approaching to accommodate during a summit, a matter added.
