London: Voters headed to polls on Thursday to expel their ballots in a ancestral referendum on either Britain should sojourn a member of a European Union (EU) or leave.

A record series of people — 46,499,537 — are purebred to take partial in a once-in-a era vote, BBC reported.

Polling stations non-stop during 7 a.m. and will tighten during 10 p.m.

It is usually a third national referendum in Britain’s story and comes after a four-month conflict for votes between a ‘Leave’ and ‘Remain’ campaigns.

The purebred electorate embody Britons from England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Gibraltar — a British domain off a southern seashore of Spain.

The referendum list paper asks a following question: “Should a United Kingdom sojourn a member of a European Union or leave a European Union?”

The formula are approaching by early Friday morning.

Once a formula are in, they will be announced by segment rather than by constituency.

The 12 regions contain Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, London and 8 English regions.
