Appreciate Indo-Japanese weaves in Mumbai this week

Till Dec 22, 11 AM – 7 PM: Catch a works of Japanese weave and mantle engineer Ryoko Haraguchi, whose fashionable designs confederate Indian weaving with Japanese dyeing techniques. You’ll see panoply that are experimental, and use normal Indian weaving, stitchwork and dyeing techniques. Haraguchi combines these with ancient Japanese methods, such as ‘Itajime’ (board dyeing) and persimmon dyeing ‘Kakishibu’.
