“That was really intolerable to him. we called him (Rohit) to my home and told him.. listen Rohit, we know since Rohit is here (it is) since of usually cricket. You got all — fame, income from cricket. But (now) we are not looking after your cricket, so we am requesting you, only start practicing.

“Virat (Kohli) came after we and he is in a (2011) World Cup team. See a difference. Now we have to demeanour after your cricket,” removed Lad.

Lad pronounced his recommendation paid dividends as Rohit emerged as a totally opposite batsman after that period.
“From that (period), he (Rohit) started practicing from morning 7 compartment dusk five,” he said.
