Pelosi Vows to Override Veto Defense Bill Vital to US Security and Troops

Earlier this month, Congress upheld a National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), that Donald Trump threatened to halt forward of a passing. He deserted a check on Dec. 23, 2020 — Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) vows Congress will overrule a president’s veto.

Members from both a House and a Senate have been told they will be called behind to Washington subsequent week to challenge a president’s veto. The NDAA upheld both chambers — Congress; 84 to 13 and House; 335 to 78. Their votes simply accommodate a two-thirds threshold required to overrule a president’s refusal to pointer a check into action.
