Linda Tripp, Whistleblower for a Clinton-Lewinsky Scandal, Dies
- Updated: April 9, 2020
On Apr 8, 2020, a chairman who played a pivotal purpose in a Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal, Linda Tripp upheld away. On a day before to her death, it was announced that Tripp was sincerely ill. The 70-year-old died after a brief conflict with pancreatic cancer.
Some cruise her to be a whistleblower for exposing Clinton’s eventuality with Lewinsky. Lewinsky was a White House novice during Clinton’s presidency. Tripp had been friends with Lewinsky; on conference about a affair, Tripp began personally recording Lewinsky’s confessions.
She afterwards gave those recordings to Kenneth Starr, who was a Independent Counsel during a time. This eventually led to a review and impeachment of Clinton.
At a whistleblower’s eventuality in 2018, Tripp said: “I know what it’s like to be in a crosshairs of a many absolute chairman in a world, to be pounded viciously, not since we pronounced something untrue, though since we pronounced something people did not wish to hear. And it was about a renouned president. To politicians, usually sides matter, and a law becomes a tragedy.”
