Giant asteroid tracked by NASA to fly by Earth this week

Washington: NASA is tracking a hulk asteroid that might be taller than a Empire State Building in a US, and it will be drifting nearby a Earth on Jun 6 (Saturday).

Given a name stone 163348 (2002 NN4), a space stone is believed to be travelling during a speed of 5.2 km a second or 11,200 miles per hour and will pass by nearby a Earth’s circuit this week.

According to a dailystar.co.uk, it is estimated to be between 250m and 570m (820ft and 1870ft) — so it could be taller than a Empire State Building (443m or 1453ft) and a London Eye (135m or 443ft) combined.

The International space group has classed a asteroid as an Aten asteroid, that is a space stone following a really far-reaching circuit around a Sun.

Scientists do not consider a asteroid will hit with Earth though will keep an eye on it in box it enters Earth’s atmosphere by chance. Asteroid 163348 (2002 NN4) is approaching to wizz past Earth during 12:50 pm (IST) on Sunday this week.
