Chicago State University (CSU) offers a giveaway 4-day practical eventuality to bond internal film and radio professionals with attention leaders. The Department of Communications, Media Arts Theatre Departments are sponsoring a contention to be hold Apr 27-30, 2021.

The keynote orator is a President of Media Sales for BET Networks. Panelists embody artists who started their artistic tour in Chicago.

On a conference’s initial day, Apr 27,  CSU President Z. Walker will acquire participants. Her residence is followed by a keynote speaker, Louis Carr, President of Media Sales for BET — he will strictly open a conference.

Conference Highlights

csuJoining a screenwriting contention with CSU expertise member and creator of “227” Christine Houston on Thursday are Alisha Cowen and Sara Finney Johnson. Cowen is famous for her essay on Comedy Central’s “South Side” and Amazon’s “Harlem.” Johnson is a Co-Creator and Executive Producer of “Moesha” and “The Parkers.”

CSU Assistant Professor Jerrell Henderson, Chicago actor Christopher Taylor, and a President of Chicago SAG-AFTRA Charles Andrew Gardner will consider internal actors’ new opportunities.

The contention closes with a contention on diversity, equity, and inclusion in a Chicago film attention with Derek Dow, who is an award-winning film executive and CSU Lecturer in Digital Cinema along with Director of a Chicago Film Office, Kwame Amoaku.
