Twitter shutting down many of the TV apps: Report

“On Thursday, May 24, Twitter for Roku, Twitter for Android TV and Twitter for Xbox will no longer be available. To get a full Twitter experience, revisit https://twitter.com on your device or desktop,” a microblogging website tweeted
After murdering off apps used by a minority of a userbase including a “Twitter for Mac”, a micro-blogging site is shutting down a TV apps on Roku, Android TV and Xbox from May 24.
“On Thursday, May 24, Twitter for Roku, Twitter for Android TV and Twitter for Xbox will no longer be available. To get a full Twitter experience, revisit https://twitter.com on your device or desktop,” a microblogging website tweeted.
This is due to a gloomy feedback that users gave since these Twitter apps did not concede them to twitter from their comment or entirely correlate with a Twittersphere in general, The Verge reported.
A news in Tech Crunch, however, pronounced that Twitter has done a preference to kill off these apps as a micro-blogging height works towards GDPR compliance.
