The Asociación de la Cultura Hondureña en Chicago Changes Lives

Elena Beatriz Melendez along with her daughter is a pushing force behind a Asociación de la Cultura Hondureña en Chicago (Association of Honduran Culture in Chicago). The classification was founded since Melendez knows God has called her to give behind to a Honduran village in both Chicago and South America.

Their Facebook page describes a association’s purpose is to:

Celebrate, strengthen and combine to a community. In a association, we offer a far-reaching operation of events and services for a community. We rest on a family, culture, strength, and needs of a community.

Melendez was innate in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She was lifted by a lady who believed it would be greedy to save income when so many had so little. She recalls feeling confused since they were not rich though their refrigerator was always full. Her mom finished a joining to God and as such, Melendez and her hermit attended Sabbath School.
