Splitting California in 2?
- Updated: January 18, 2018
A new bid to order California into mixed states is underway. “New California” would be separate into coastal cities and farming areas, since it is a many populated state.
Founders Robert Preston and Tom Reed review their possess Declaration of Independence on Jan. 16, 2018, according to KOVR-TV. They hosted a tiny rite in Marysville, California. They explain a state is not governable since a taxes are too high.
Preston and Reed wish to work with a state legislature and Congress to make their thought of dual Californias work.
Previously, proposals to separate a state of California have enclosed a bid to order a state into six, others have suggested mixing tools of a state with Oregon to emanate a new state of Jefferson.
So far, nothing of these ideas have done headway.
