Nine-hour tour begins
Muley, 50, starts his week on Sunday night (8:30pm), by boarding a Amravati-CSTM Express from Akola that arrives a subsequent morning (5:30am) in Thane. He heads to a Sulakshan Kulkarni Academy in Thane’s Panch Pakhdi area where he coaches U-14 and U-19 kids for a subsequent 4 days — both in a morning and dusk (three-hour sessions). On Thursday night, Muley leaves for Akola and arrives right in time for his Friday morning event during a Akola Cricket Club (ACC) ground. “I learnt a lot while interacting with Sulakshan sir during a VCA Stadium in Nagpur. “Muley sir began coaching Aditya, Darshan and myself when we were only 7 or eight. Those 4 to 5 years underneath him helped us build a plain foundation. He’s only too good,” pronounced Taide, who scored a match-winning 320 in a Cooch Behar final opposite Madhya Pradesh during Nagpur in January.
