Marriott CEO, Arne Sorenson, Dies during Age 62

The boss and CEO of Marriott International, Arne Sorenson, died on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. His “unexpected” genocide came after he battled with pancreatic cancer for dual years. The hotel sequence announced his genocide on Feb 16.
Two weeks ago a association announced that Sorenson was shortening his work hours due to pancreatic cancer treatments. In May 2019, he was diagnosed with theatre 2 pancreatic cancer.
The company’s executive chairman, J.W. Marriott, Jr., settled that a Sorenson was an “exceptional executive, though some-more than that, he was an well-developed tellurian being.” Marriott serve settled that a CEO had a good mind for business.
The executive authority combined that a purpose Sorenson “relished a many were as husband, father, hermit and friend.” Sorenson was a company’s third CEO. He was a initial chairman outward of a family to perform a position.
In 2016, Sorenson oversaw a $12 billion partnership between Starwood and Marriott. He perceived high praises from a association for his “leadership on formidable inhabitant and tellurian issues.”
Before Sorenson’s death, he had taken a leave from work. Marriott executives Tony Capuano and Stephanie Linnartz filled in for him. They will continue to do so now that he has unexpected died.

He is survived by his brother, children, and family. May he rest in peace.
