Georgia Bulldogs Narrowly Win a 104th Rose Bowl

The Tournament of Roses jubilee culmination is a Rose Bowl game. On Jan 1, 2018, No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners (OKA) and No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs (UGA) football teams met for a semi-final game.

The Bulldogs narrowly won a 104th Rose Bowl, 54-48, in dual overtime periods. The diversion scores:

  1. First quarter: OKA 14 – UGA 7
  2. Second quarter: OKA 17 – UGA 10
  3. Third quarter: OKA 0 – UGA 14
  4. Fourth quarter: OKA 14 – UGA 14
  5. First Overtime: OKA 3 – UGA 3
  6. Second Overtime: OKA 0 – UKA 6

Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl Hall of Fame

Earlier in a day, a Rose Bowl captivated thousands along a route. Gary Sinise was a presiding grand Marshal of a 2018 Tournament of Roses Parade. Todrick Hall’s opening launched a start of a parade. The culmination was achieved by Andy Grammer.

Four group gained a poignant eminence of being inducted into a Rose Bowl Hall of Fame. The rite and luncheon were hold on Jan 1 in Lot K. The honorees are Mack Brown, Cade McNown, Dr. Charles West, and Charles Woodson.

Rose Bowl Fun Facts

The track construction was finished in 1922, with a ability of 57,000. On Oct 28, 1922, California State Los Angeles (Cal) Golden Bears trounced University of Southern California (USC) Trojans, 12-0.

Today, a track ability is 92,542, creation it a sixth largest in a world, according to Business Insider.
