West Indies cricket idol Brian Lara was Wednesday liberated from a sanatorium here, announced “fit and fine” a day after he complained of chest pain.

“He (Lara) has been liberated during 12:20 from a hospital,” a source told PTI.

“He is fit and fine,” he combined but divulging any serve details.

“I might have only extended myself in a gym this morning. we was removing a pain in my chest and we only suspicion that it was best to see a doctor,” he had said.

Lara played 131 Tests for a West Indies and averaged 52.89 for his 11,953 runs, while his 299 ODI appearances yielded 10,405 runs during 40.17.
